"Sense and Sensibility" star Emma Thompson will never get plastic surgery. Her opinions were undeniably true, and here's why.
Thompson said the idea of going through surgery for beauty's sake is not normal. For her, beauty enhancements, like botox, is 'psychotic' and that getting these is making a mad decision, as reported by Hello! Magazine.
"It's not a normal thing to do, and the culture that we've created that says it's normal, is not normal," she said.

Thompson's statement came just before the release of her film, "The Love Punch." The movie, released in 2013, has a comedic touch.
The 55-year-old actress also wondered why most people would go under the knife in exchange for artificial beauty. Thompson was concerned since there can be serious effects when a person puts something inside their bodies.
"It's chronically unhealthy and there's this very serious side to all of that because we're going to end up with this sort of 'super-culture' that's going to suggest to young people, girls, and boys, that this looks normal," she explained.

What Thompson revealed may be true as the current rise of plastic surgery has also seen the rise of psychological effects. Her carefree lifestyle can make anyone jealous. She has lived her life with brilliance and grace.
Coming from a family of actors, her career has spanned illustrious folds. Thompson's talent has led her to become an Oscar winner.
Among her many accomplishments was receiving the highest honor possible from Prince William.
Amid all the hype on making beauty a top priority, Thompson found herself dealing with a midlife crisis. This was revealed during her 2019 interview with the New York Times, as reported by Nicki Swift.
One of her personal crises was aging. She realized that denying the fact that she's getting old was damaging to her well-being. Thompson began to embrace her true self.
She said that it is unhealthy to deny aging. She added that society imposes a lot of roles that often make someone feel an outcast.
The actress, who plays by her own rules, would ask herself if she should give in to a certain position dictated by society. But, eventually, Thompson chose to be her authentic self.
Among her many accomplishments was receiving the highest honor possible from Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
The celebrated actress received a damehood from William at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday morning, November 7, 2018.
