Kevin Hart Doesn't Recall Anything from 2019 Car Crash That Caused Three Spinal Fractures
This week, Kevin Hart’s interview with “Men’s Health” was published. In it, the actor and comedian opened up about his car crash that happened on September 1, 2019.
Hart, 40, made the news last year when he got three spinal fractures after being involved in a car accident. The star’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda veered off the road in the Malibu Hills, California causing him and two other people to become trapped in the vehicle.
The” Jumanji: The Next Level” actor had to go through intensive training in order to rehabilitate. Speaking about the accident that occurred over the Labor Day weekend, Hart confessed: “I can’t tell you nothing about it. Isn’t that scary?”

The first thing Kevin recalls from the crash
The actor continued with what he did recall stating: “The first thing I remember is being in the ambulance with my wife [Eniko Parrish].” Besides Hart, the person who was driving at the car was also hospitalized along with his fiancée.
Luckily, no one was killed in the accident. About a month after the incident, Hart posted took to Instagram to post a video where he opened up about how the ordeal had changed his perspective on life.
"When God talks, you gotta listen"
In the clip, the actor stated: "When God talks, you gotta listen." The footage also included a look at the crash site and a report on the accident.
What Hart learned from the accident
The actor also shared that he now saw “things differently” and that his “appreciation for life is through the roof." Fans also got to see the star as he went through rehabilitation.
Actor felt blessed over Thanksgiving
During the Thanksgiving holiday, Hart took to social media again to share his appreciation for being “blessed.” The actor admitted that he had “so much to be thankful for.”
Hart still has his humor
He explained that he actually had a list of things he was grateful for and he promised to make sure that those around him knew it. At one point, the star panned the camera to show his older brother, Robert, exercising and Hart joked to his fans that he was his sibling and not his brother.
Despite everything that he’s been through, Hart still manages to keep his humor.
