Jennifer Lopez Announces Launch of Her Own Shoe Line Which Will Be Sold Exclusively at DSW

Jennifer Lopez makes another dream a reality as she enters the world of fashion with the launch of her new footwear line. The collection is representative of important places to her, and Jennifer excitedly shared the news with her fans.

Taking a walk in Jennifer's stylish shoes will soon be possible, as Designer Brands Inc., one of the largest footwear and accessories retailers in North America, ventured into a business partnership with the superstar.

The partnership allows Jennifer to be in charge of the creation, design, source, and the sell of her footwear and accessories, and receive "technical expertise and guidance" from Camuto Group.

The line, which is called JLO JENNIFER LOPEZ will feature footwear and handbags, which will exclusively be sold at DSW, both instore and online. Excited at realizing another dream, Jennifer said in a statement:

“Since the beginning, I’ve wanted to do it all; music, movies, and fashion. There are many facets to my career, that’s what I wanted to bring to my collection."

The 50-year-old represented three cities in her collection, Miami, Los Angeles, and New York, because they form an important part of the person she is today.

With a little bit of vibrancy from Miami, a sprinkle of Hollywood glamour, and the downtown streets of New York, Jennifer wants to inspire through her collection, as she added:

"It’s my hope that people can find and represent multiple sides of themselves, all while remaining true to their most authentic self. We girls can do it all!”

Jennifer also shared the news on social media, and she advised fans to head over to DSW to sign up for early access to the collection, and a chance to spend time with her.

Early birds to sign up can look forward to browsing through up to eleven styles between March 9 and March 15, before the entire collection becomes available all shoppers on March 16.

An early Valentine's Day gift for Jennifer, who will celebrate the day of love with Alex Rodriguez for the first time since they became engaged.

The pair met early in February 2017, and Alex surprised Jennifer with bunches of flowers, cake, and chocolates, "and everything" on their first Valentine's Day together shortly after.

Even though Alex and Jennifer Lopez already feel like they are "basically married, the couple is looking forward to making it official.

The wedding is reportedly planned for the summer, which the couple wants to be a fun celebration with family and friends, which will even include the exes.
