This tour hasn't been particularly easy for the singer, especially with his recent diagnosis with walking Pneumonia. Despite his illness, Elton still found time to do something special for his partner, David Furnish, for Valentine's Day.
He sent David a bunch of yellow roses, which David, in turn, posted on his Instagram account and expressed his appreciation to his loving husband. Furnish captioned the post:
"Thank-you my darling @eltonjohn I'm the luckiest man in the world ❤️❤️"

Elton's gesture wowed fans and followers. They hit the like button and slid into the comment section to say sweet things about the couple. A fan wrote,
"Happy Valentine's day for you both. You are an amazing couple!"
Someone said, "Awwww, my heart hurts from you guys being so adorable." The singer is determined to give his fans what they want and complete his farewell tour regardless of his illness.
On Sunday, he still tried to put on a great show for his fans in Auckland, New Zealand. His health, however, didn't allow him.
fter performing 14 songs instead of his usual 25, Elton has to bid his fans goodnight. He later apologized to them in a post on social media. Elton John wrote,
"I was determined to give you the best show humanly possible. I played and sang my heart out until my voice could sing no more. I'm disappointed, deeply upset, and sorry. I gave it all I had."
Elton's decision to go on his farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which is the final tour, stems from his desire to spend more time with his family.
In 2018, the 72-year-old British singer sat for an interview with CNN, where he revealed that he didn't want to continue touring, especially now that his children have started going to school.
Elton, who had always said he wants to die on stage, was willing to give it all up for his children. He had a conversation with his husband, David, and they decided it was time to say goodbye.
For his final tour, Elton is doing something grand to appreciate all those who helped make his career a success. At the end of it all, his children will get his undivided attention.
