The country musician took part in the Q&A at the Country Radio Seminar event. Speaking about her pregnancy with Jacob, now 13-months-old, the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” vocalist confessed: “At the time I was writing a lot of the book, I was pregnant, and I had the worst pregnancy insomnia.”

Despite the inconvenience of insomnia, Underwood shared that there was a “blessing” to it. The star revealed how not being able to sleep allowed her to write most of her book, “Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong.”

Baby Jacob was born after his mother went through several miscarriages which she later opened up about.
