Sheinelle Jones from 'Today' Gives Update after Vocal Cord Surgery but She Can't Talk
“Today” star, Sheinelle Jones shared a pleasing video of herself and her kids informing fans that she was getting better although she isn’t talking yet.
Sheinelle Jones is recuperating after a life-changing surgery that rendered her temporarily mute. Although she isn’t talking yet, Jones shared a video that had her looking radiant.

...Sheinelle cried tears of relief as she wrote that she felt “a release” following months of struggles and anxiety over her inability to talk properly.
In the Instagram post, she was joined by kids who acted as voices for her while they informed fans that their mom was getting better, and they were having fun.
Sheinelle continuously nodded her head while she held up a thumbs-up sign as she confirmed her kids’ words. She goofily added in her caption that it took them “60 million times” to get the video right.
Before the time she posted this video, the mom-of-two made an Instagram video where she informed fans on her own of her well-being.
According to Pop Culture, Jones sat in what looked like a section of her home as she held up huge flashcards with reassuring words for fans.
While she made it known that not being able to talk “stinks,” she told fans she was doing fine and passing the time with books and magazines.
Before her vocal cord surgery, Jones had been having issues talking properly, and Today shares that on the 24th of February, she underwent surgery to remove a lesion from her throat.
Following her operation, Jones found alternatives to communicate with fans and her Today co-workers.

People shares that the TV anchor had emotional words to share on Instagram after she woke up from the successful surgery.
Sheinelle explained in a lengthy Instagram post about how she felt after the operation. Jones wrote in the caption:
“Apparently I emerged out of anesthesia ‘talking’…. I was out of it… I just remember a male voice kindly but firmly telling me to ‘please stop talking.”
After she was left alone, Sheinelle cried tears of relief as she wrote that she felt “a release” following months of struggles and anxiety over her inability to talk properly.
Presently, Jones is expected to take six weeks off work for complete wellness, including getting her voice back before returning to her showbiz job.
