COVID-19, known as "Coronavirus" worldwide, has alarmed people all over the world and for good reason. The virus is quickly spreading cross-country, and the best way to limit contagion is through self-quarantine.

One of those who have decided to self-quarantine is Serena Williams, who revealed she is taking the government's suggestion seriously by "spending the next 6 weeks in solitude."

Now that the world has suddenly come to a halt because of the virus, she encouraged her followers to do the same and take time to self-quarantine.

Serena Williams is one of the busiest superwomen in the world, as she juggles Tennis, her many businesses, endorsements and guestings, and of course, being a mom and wife. That is why now that the government has requested people to stay indoors, that's exactly what she'll be doing.

"Spending the next 6 weeks in solitude. Being a wife. Being a mom. Cooking. Cleaning. Spring cleaning. Face mask. Makeup tutorials. I'll let you know how it goes... stay safe everyone. This is serious."

Williams will be focusing all her time on her husband Alexis Ohanian, and their darling daughter Olympia. Now that the world has suddenly come to a halt because of the virus, she encouraged her followers to do the same and take time to self-quarantine to keep everyone around them safe.

Many celebrities have taken precautionary measures against the Coronavirus, especially since Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson publicly announced that both of them tested positive for it.

While in Australia, Hanks revealed that he and his wife felt tired and had flu-like symptoms. Hoping to play things right, they decided to get tested for the Coronavirus, and indeed, they tested positive.

"We'll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves!"

Keeping a positive attitude through it all, the Hanks has been following the medical protocols in place. They've added that they will be isolated for as long as the medical officials require them to, and they're taking it one day at a time.
