Fans on Instagram demanded a "Sister, Sister" reboot after Tia Mowry dressed up in a denim hat, overalls, and a '90s-looking shirt. Unfortunately for them, a throwback picture is all they're going to get.

The show ran for five years and centered on Tia and Tamera Mowry's characters, twins who were separated at birth.

THE FAILED REBOOT

Unfortunately for "Sister, Sister" fans, a reboot is just not happening after they've faced several hiccups upon trying to make it happen. According to the star, she's just as disappointed as fans to hear about the cancellation.

"There were several hiccups, which was really disappoiting. We were ready to say 'let's do this,' the actors, the writers, the producers - all of us. But then there were some sort of legal hiccups that put a halt to it."

The show ran for five years, from 1994 to 1999, and centered on Tia and Tamera Mowry's characters, who were twins separated at birth and reunited by chance as they bump into each other at the mall.

With the "Sister, Sister" on a halt, Tia has been focusing her time on multiple other projects, aside from being a hands-on mother to her two children, Cree and Cairo. After giving birth to her daughter a year ago, she's been taking her time on losing weight, and it's been quite effective for her.

LIFE OUTSIDE SHOW BUSINESS

Instead of pressuring herself to lose weight right away, Tia Mowry let time take its course and took it one step at a time when it came to losing the post-pregnancy weight she gained.

Now that she's lost a total of 60 pounds, she's been flaunting her figure on social media to inspire other women not to give up on themselves and to embrace their bodies and fitness journeys.
