Serena William's husband Alexis Ohanian shared an adorable picture of his daughter playing doctor as he sent out a message thanking medical professionals for the part in fighting the coronavirus.

Shortly after reports broke about coronavirus cases in the United States, Serena Williams chose to go into a six-week self-isolation with her family.

Although they are currently hauled up in their mansion, concerns about the outside world are not far from their minds.

On Thursday, her husband Alexis Ohanian shared a special message for health professionals around the world, who are doing everything to fight the pandemic, he said:

"To all the medical professionals (those leaving their families) working long hours to save lives (risking their own health): THANK YOU!!"

Along with his message, he shared a picture of his daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian playing doctor and holding a stethoscope that she has placed on Serena's chest.

While showing off the tender mother-daughter moment, he also added a special message from his family, saying, "our family wants you to know you are all heroes and role models."

Her isolation comes only months after

and her family jetted off to New Zealand for a family. In early January, Alexis shared pictures from their trip to the Auckland Zoo.

Serena was in the country to play at the ASB Classic. They used their downtime to fully explore the tourist attractions while Alexis carried his daughter in his arms as they viewed hundreds of animals.

The adorable couple has never held back in opening up about the secrets behind their successful marriage. On Valentine's Day 2019, Alexis shared some relationship advice revealing:

"You have to show up. You have to be supportive. These are the things that matter."

According to Daily Mail, the lockdown has given the couple some much-needed bonding time with her daughter.

Serena shared in an Instagram post that she is going to dedicate her time to being a wife and mother. She is also going to get a bit of spring cleaning done and try out a few recipes.
