Donald Trump Releases 15 Day-Guidelines in Effort to Stop Further Spread of Coronavirus

President Donald Trump released 15 day-guidelines to slow the spread of coronavirus while maintaining optimism that the country would overcome the spread of the virus.

With the widespread of the coronavirus, many things have been said and done with health personnel asking people to stay at home and not interact in large gatherings.

With WHO declaring the virus a national pandemic, lots of people have taken to their homes and maintained social distance to avoid the spread of the virus.

Recently, Donald Trump shared a 15-day guideline snippet in an effort to stop further spread of the virus. The video which was posted via his Twitter account urged people to avoid social gatherings and frequently wash their hands.

Similarly, in a document released by the government, it is advised that those that are sick should isolate themselves and get in touch with medical personnel who would ensure that they get the right treatment. The document also said:

“If you are a person with a serious underlying medical condition that puts you at an increased risk, stay home and away from other people.”

It further reiterated the work from home policy, disinfecting surfaces in the home and frequently used materials, and most importantly, it urged that once one begins to experience any sign of sickness, such a person should stay at home.

Trump has expressed that the country would continue to be optimistic.

While the guidelines are not certain of eradicating the virus, it is guaranteed that if people followed it, the spread of the virus could be slowed down and easily contained.

Following the tweet by the POTUS, there were many reactions as regards the announcement in the comments section. Someone said:

“The American people will work together to make it through this!”

While some expressed their gratitude to Trump for finally taking it seriously, others were livid that he was just now seeing how dangerous and viral the thing had become before he did anything.

Noticing the severity of the case, Trump announced a national emergency last week, Friday, 13th of March, during a press conference.

Amidst the numerous criticisms, Trump has expressed that the country would continue to be optimistic about the outcome if people followed the rules and maintained social distance.

Although the cases have increased since the first time it was announced in the United States, people must understand that care begins with themselves.
