Oprah Winfrey's Partner Stedman Graham Is Isolated in Their Guesthouse Due to Coronavirus Fears
The TV legend revealed their current living arrangements. She explained the fact that she is more at-risk due to a pre-existing medical condition. Her longtime partner has not tested positive for the coronavirus.
Oprah Winfrey is just one of the millions of people across the nation ordered to shelter at home because of the growing pandemic, though she says that she has more than enough to keep herself busy.
Stedman Graham, is self-quarantining himself at their guesthouse, out of an abundance of caution amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Oprah he is perfectly fine with the arrangement, and he still gets plenty of human contact. Oprah said:
"My friends say 'Oh, isn't Stedman upset? He's really not. He's happy to keep me safe."
LOVE THAT TAKES CARE
According to Oprah, Stedman was late about taking the pandemic seriously. He didn't see why everybody was getting so upset about it. And that's why Stedman ended up at the guest house. Oprah had pneumonia late last year, and she had a bronchial infection.
Stedman arrived from Chicago on Thursday and had been on various planes across the country, speaking in St. Louis. Oprah says they must be on social distancing, and it doesn’t mean to go to sleep in the same bed together.
ISOLATED CELEBRITIES
Some famous faces have shared their positive diagnoses for the virus on their social networks. Other celebrities have decided to self-quarantine to help stop the virus's accelerated spread.
The new announcements by President Donald Trump in recent days, have provided the guidelines to be followed by all citizens for the next 15 days. This includes no more than 10 people meeting and working from home if possible.
THE SHOW MUST GO ON
Talk show hosts have had to find ways to broadcast their shows from home this month during the coronavirus crisis. For example, Oprah launched “Oprah Talks COVID-19,” and her first guest was actor Idris Elba, one of the first celebrities to reveal he had tested positive for the virus.
Idris talked with Oprah from New Mexico where he was about to start filming a movie, and had to quarantine instead. The actor said he has been avoiding the mainstream media, but trusted her to make a proper approach to the interview.
