Christie Brinkley, 66, Looks Ageless as She Runs on the Beach with 2 Pups Amid COVID-19 Crisis

Over the weekend, Christie Brinkley, 66, took to social media to show how she was handling the coronavirus quarantine. In a series of photos, the star revealed how ageless she was.

Taking to her Instagram account, Brinkley showed off how she was aging very well and still quite fit. She uploaded images of her running on the beach with two dogs, Daisy and Chester.

The star kept it casual in black tights and an oversized blue hoodie. She added some white sneakers for comfort and smiled as she was captured on camera.

Fans concerned about Christie’s beach trip

Brinkley captioned her post writing: “Getting some exercise on an empty stretch of the beach with my personal trainers.” Some of her fans responded positively to her post while others weren’t so pleased.

Certain fans had an issue with seeing the star on a Los Angeles beach as the city had mandated that people should stay away from them. A new ruling states that all Los Angeles county beaches would close, in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Her injury wasn’t healing fast enough

Los Angeles is among the US’ cities that were hit the hardest by the outbreak. In January 2020, Brinkley wasn’t running around as she is now.

She revealed that her “Dancing With The Stars” injury from last year wasn’t healing “fast enough.” The star explained to “People TV” that she required surgery.

Planned surgery

She suffered a wrist injury while training for the dance competition. At the time, the star had planned to get the surgery ahead of her guest ringmaster appearance for the “Big Apple Circus.”

Celebrating her birthday

On February 2, 2020, Brinkley celebrated her 66th birthday. Taking to Instagram again a day after her special day, the star wrote: “I never would have guessed that I would start my 66th year of life popping out of a cake!”

Taking a luxury cruise

She joked that it’s exactly what she did as the guest ringmaster in “New York City’s own Circus!” Later in the month, the star shared some images from a luxurious cruise.

She was pictured wearing a white suit with sneakers while holding a silver purse as she boarded a Regent Cruise.
