In a post on Instagram, Vanessa shared the still graphics of the book, also announcing that the book was available for purchase.
The still graphic featured the book's cover page and background that showed a basketball court and a young boy practicing. In the caption to the post, Vanessa gave more information about the book, writing:
"Welcome back to Dren! We hope you are all ready to catch up with the West Bottom Badgers for another magical basketball season..."
Kobe's fans were excited about the news and rushed to the comment section of his wife's post to share their joy over the release of the new book.
One fan said that the first book from the series taught him so much about himself and the power he had to overcome his fears and doubts, thus making him excited about the new book.
Vanessa found it hard to keep it together, and could hardly finish a sentence without giving into tears.
In her comment, actress Courtney Lopez told Vanessa that the release of the book was very exciting, while another excited fan added that Kobe's books were amazing.
A fan who already got the book said that he was excited to receive it, adding that he bought the whole collection for his son, while another person wrote:
"Ours was just delivered today my son is so excited to start reading it."
Following the death of her husband and her daughter, Gigi, along with seven others in that disastrous helicopter crash on January 26, Vanessa Bryant struggled to be strong for herself and her daughters.
In the days that followed that terrible crash, Vanessa found it hard to keep it together, and could hardly finish a sentence without giving into tears.
This was revealed to People by an insider source, who said that the widow was working hard to remain strong, but had a reliable support system from loved ones who reportedly comforted her after Kobe's death.
After Kobe's death was announced, the world stood still to honor the basketballer, who was one of the greatest players ever to grace the basketball court. He would be sorely missed.
