In a recent Instagram post, Vanessa Bryant acknowledged a fan's tattoo, which was in honor of her late husband and daughter. It featured Kobe and Gianna with their jerseys inked right below the image.

Praising the tattoo, Vanessa described it as a "really beautiful" tribute adding that Kobe would never have wanted to outshine their daughter. This tattoo came after Kobe's older sister, Sharia, got a tattoo in honor of her brother and niece.

Just one month after the death of Kobe and Gianna, Sharia took to her Instagram page to share a tattoo in honor of Kobe and Gigi. The ink featured Kobe and Gianna's Jersey numbers, 2 and 24, surrounded by a mamba in an infinity symbol.

In another Instagram photo post on Thursday, Vanessa Bryant shared a picture of Sharia in celebration of her birthday. This came barely two months after the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of seven people alongside Kobe and Gianna.

Vanessa's post featured a throwback picture of Sharia with the third child of Bryant's family, Bianka. She captioned it with a happy birthday greeting to Sharia, adding that she loved her.

At the time of Kobe's death, the couple had been married for close to 20 years.

While Vanessa mourns the death of her husband and daughter, she has continued to fight for the legacy of her family.

On Tuesday, Vanessa filed a legal petition seeking to include her and Kobe's last daughter, Capri Bryant, to the late NBA icon's legal trust, which was put in place to provide for his family in the event of his death.

Although the trust fund was initially created in 2003, it has been amended several times over the years. The last amendment, however, was in 2017, 2 years before Capri was born.

Capri Bryant is the youngest Bryant child after her sisters, 17-year-old Natalia, two-year-old Bianka, and late 13-year-old Gianna.

Kobe rose to limelight after he was signed to the Los Angeles Lakers in 1996. He went on to play with the team for 20 years during which he won five NBA championships

Kobe met Vanessa when she was only a senior in high school. They dated for a few years before getting married in 2001. At the time of Kobe's death, the couple had been married for close to 20 years.
