In a rare Instagram Stories video, actress Heather Locklear reached out with a message to people who are working during the coronavirus pandemic. She also took some time to make a joke about a past character she once played.
Locklear recently took to social media revealing that she was staying at home amid the COVID-19 outbreak. She also sent her well-wishes to the essential people who are still working despite the pandemic.
In the videos, the star’s natural, brunette roots appeared to be coming in. Locklear jokingly brought spoke about her natural hair growth by referencing her “Melrose Place” character, Amanda Woodward.

The actress joked: "I also wanted to let you all know that the ’90s are back.” Locklear added: “Amanda Woodward’s roots are alive and well and I think we should embrace it."
Being in quarantine meant salons weren’t open and people couldn’t go do their hair. The actress also asked her fans to share what they were “doing to keep busy.”
She wanted to know what made them happy. The star also encouraged people to stay apart and shared her love with them.
Locklear’s recent Instagram videos can be viewed here. Her video comes five months after she spent time in rehabilitation.
At the time, court documents had ordered the star to remain on probation. She was told to seek out therapy through out-patient programs as part of her plea agreement.
The actress had pleaded no contest to eight misdemeanors.
Six of the misdemeanors were related to the battery of a police officer and EMT. These stemmed from her June 2018 arrest.
She was sentenced to 30 days in a residential mental health facility, enrollment of which was set to September 6, 2019. According to a source that spoke to “People” magazine, the actress has been to rehabilitation “more than 20 times, perhaps 25 times.”
According to another insider, Locklear struggled with "alcohol, pills, and her mental health." In November 2018, the star was placed on a psychiatric hold after her therapist and lawyer reportedly believed she was having a breakdown.
