Don Lemon of CNN & Fiancé Tim Malone Spend Time With Their Dogs While Social Distancing at Home
Don Lemon and Tim Malone enjoy a happy moment with their three furry home companions while shacked up in their home. The couple just adopted their third dog a few days back.
Don Lemon and his fiancé Tim Malone had their “hands full” while on quarantine at home. In a photo shared by Tim on his Instagram, the couple held their poodles, Boomer and Barkley and the newest member of their family, another poodle they named Gus.
Don and Tim adore their furry home companions which often grace their social media pages. They adopted Boomer and Barkley in 2018 and Gus just last week.

The couple’s beloved dogs are a great part of their lives. In fact, Boomer and Barkley were very much involved in their engagement last year. Tim proposed on his 35th birthday in April using the pups as props.
Don and Tim are currently shacked up at home in light of the Coronavirus outbreak. Don continues to work from home as an anchor for “CNN Tonight” and with the pleasure of having their dogs by his side.
He ushered in the two dogs and surprised Don with the matching tags they were wearing. On the tags were the words, “Daddy will you marry Papa?” engraved on them.
“He gave me a present on his birthday. How could I say no?” Don wrote in a post announcing their engagement.
In January, the CNN anchor and real estate agent took a trip to Miami and brought along Boomer and Barkley. The dogs frolicked with their masters on the beach.
Late last month, Tim introduced their latest family member, Gus Malemon, another poodle they adopted from South Hampton Animal Shelter. Tim shared a photo of him and the 10-year-old dog, telling his followers “3 is better than 2” in his caption. Now there are more dogs than people in their home in Sag Harbor, New York.

On Tuesday, Don became emotional on the show when he spoke of his colleague, Chris Cuomo, who recently tested positive for the virus.
“Sorry, I said I wasn’t going to do this. Jesus,” the journalist said on-air as he wiped his teary eyes with a tissue. “He’s probably at home laughing at me,” he added.
Chris, a CNN anchor too, continues to broadcast from his home’s basement while nursing his sickness. He told Don that he’s been isolated from his family since learning he was positive for COVID-19. “Even the dogs don’t come,” he shared.
Chris is reportedly the third person from the CNN workforce to test positive. The company shut down its office and studios after a first case was reported. Their anchors have been broadcasting from their homes in recent days.
