Daily Joke: Man Came Home from Work to Find Total Mayhem in His House

A man finally gets to understand what his wife does all day whenever he is away at work, and he found it to be quite the task.

A man came back from work one day and met his house in disarray. On getting home, he met his kids in the yard, playing while still wearing their pajamas. Surprised at this, he proceeded to enter the house.

While making his way into the house, he noticed that the front lawn was littered with food boxes and was a total mess.

Thinking it was just that, he got a shocker when he found the door to his wife’s car opened, and the front door left ajar. Trying to process what was going on, he entered the living room and was shocked at the mess he saw there.

The living room was littered with clothes and the children’s toys while the TV was blaring the tunes from a cartoon station.

The lamp was toppled over, and he noticed the mess had spread from the living room to the kitchen. If he thought the yard and the family room was a mess, he was in for a surprise as the kitchen proved to be worse.

The sink was brimming with dishes, litters of food from breakfast were scattered across the counter, and dog food was spilled on the floor.

He also noticed that there was broken glass on the floor, and a pile of sand was at the door leading outside the kitchen.

In the full panic mood now, the man bounded upstairs, searching for his wife. As he made his way up, he noticed that toys littered the hallway, and the rug was bunched up against the side of the wall.

Not wanting to think the worse of his wife being critically ill or dead, the man hurried into their room and was met with even more surprise.

On the bed laid his wife still in her pajamas, relaxing and reading a novel. Noticing his presence, she turned to him and asked how his day went.

Bewildered and lost for words, he turned to her and asked what happened today, which caused the mess in the house.

Unflinchingly, the woman turned to him and asked: “You know every day when you come home from work and ask me what in the world did I do today?”

Sensing where the conversation was headed to, the man replied in the affirmative to which his wife said she decided to take a break from doing those things.
