Keith Urban Drops New Video for His 'God Whispered Your Name' Single
Keith Urban has dropped the official music video for his song "God Whispered Your Name." The single is the singer-songwriter's first new music for this year.
In his new music video, which premiered on April 2, Urban figures out how to capture a sense of the present moment. He feels caught in a dark place and should hunt for an exit plan.
"Suddenly I wanna live, more than I ever did, I'm never gonna be the same, when God whispered your name," Urban sings.

DARKEST PLACE
Jennifer Massaux directed the music video. The heartwarming clip starts with the Country superstar stuck in a dimly-lit basement space.
A release stated that it was a series of rooms underneath a Nashville warehouse, as reported by Rolling Stone. Urban depicted it as "literally the darkest, dank and smelly place."
In the video, the multi-awarded artist eventually finds a way to break out of his dark jail and rises in wide-open space and bright skies.
FANTASTIC SONG
As of this writing, the music video has already been viewed over 361,000 times. Many people also expressed their views on the masterpiece.
One person wrote, "What in this song made you realize it was your story, and you needed to record this one. I think I know the answer, but ? It is a fantastic song."
Urban took to social media to share a video of himself performing a free show from his house.
GREAT TIME
Another fan added that he loves the video especially the parts where Urban is not playing the guitar and just dancing and having a great time.
Someone else commented that the video definitely captures how beautiful the song is and what it represents to Urban.
Rolling Stone reported that Urban originally released "God Whispered Your Name" in late February. He also announced at the time that he was set to be the new host for the 55th annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
Initially set for April 5, that show has now been moved to September 16 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Urban took to social media to share a video of himself performing a free show from his house, as reported by Daily Mail. His wife, Nicole Kidman, can be seen dancing along to his music.
Kidman looked thrilled as she danced, sang, and supported her husband during a cozy show posted to his Instagram account recently.
Urban performed several of his hit songs, including "Blue Ain't Your Color," "God Whispered Your Name," "Somebody Like You," "Wasted Time," and "Fighter."
