TMZ: Tyler Perry Reportedly Gave $21,000 Tip to 42 Employees of Atlanta Restaurant
Tyler Perry always does random acts of kindness whenever he can, and this time, he decided to give a $21,000 tip to 42 employees of an Atlanta restaurant.
With non-essential stores closing because of the Coronavirus pandemic, many of its workers are left with no work. For Tyler Perry's favorite Houston's restaurant, their employees were about to experience the same.
During the pandemic, he made sure not just to help out-of-work employees, but he also constantly checks in on his fans through social media.

A SURPRISING TIP
That is why after visiting the restaurant's Northside Parkway branch, he decided to show his appreciation by providing a whopping $21,000 tip, which would leave each employee with a $500 take home.
While the government is supposed to pay out-of-work employees, the provision of these funds may be delayed indefinitely. This leaves them with no money to pay for bills and other expenses during the imposed lockdown, so Tyler decided to step in.
A HUGE BLESSING TO OTHERS
Tyler's act of kindness is a huge blessing for these employees, and it's something that allows them to be at ease even just for a while as they have enough money to spend for essential items that they may need during these uncertain times.
This isn't the first time that Perry extended a helping hand to others who may need it. In fact, he does it quite often ranging from paying off items in super stores, providing calamity relief, and even purchasing items for those whom he's worked with.
CHECKING IN ON HIS FANS
During the pandemic, he made sure not just to help out-of-work employees, but he also constantly checks in on his fans through social media. The producer often shares videos of himself speaking to his fans, hoping they are safe and sound in their own homes.
"I hope you're keeping strong during this uncertain time in our country. All we can do is pray and follow our local and state governments' instructions, so please do that..."
HIS PRODUCTIONS ARE ON HALT
As millions of people stay home to try and stop the spread of the virus, Tyler gave them another option to keep busy, which is to check out BET+ where they can watch his shows for free. Aside from this, he asked people to pray given what's been happening, to listen to healthcare workers, and to what the local and state government says.
Ensuring the safety of his own staff, Perry also shut down production of shows and films as well as his networks, such as Nickelodeon, the Oprah Winfrey Network, and BET.
