Carson Daly of NBC Cuts Hair Live on 'Today' Show
Carson Daly cut his own hair while listening to over-the-phone instructions of celebrity stylist Chris Appleton, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Nearly every person is confined to the four walls of their home while observing self-isolation in this trying and devastating time.
With no access to professional services, many have to make do with what they have or do their own services, such as cutting their own hair.

DALY CUTS HIS HAIR LIVE
Carson Daly bravely chose to give himself a haircut live on the "TODAY" show, with the help of his children and celebrity stylist Chris Appleton, who was on the phone with him.
Daly used a trimmer to cut his "very bushy, very Michael Landon" hair on the sides, before cutting the back with the help of his 11-year-old son, Jack.
Despite the current pandemic, the host's neighbors gave a warm welcome to his daughter when they took her home by going out of their homes and holding up signs.
Although his co-hosts were at first nervous at the outcome, Daly's hair ended up looking great after not having a haircut for a while.
THE FINISHED PRODUCT
The show didn't have enough air time to see the final look of Daly's hair, so he encouraged viewers to check his Instagram account for an update.
He posted a photo of himself and son, with the caption: "Here's the final product! I think we did pretty good! Thanks to @chrisappleton1 for walking my son & I thru the self haircutting process."
Several fans and followers of Daly took to the comment section to express their shock and, at the same time, applaud the host for his successful activity.
DALY WELCOMES ANOTHER CHILD
Daly recently welcomed a daughter with his wife, Siri, and introduced her to the "TODAY" show family. In an interview, he said:
"She is the little pot of gold at the end of our family rainbow, and she came obviously at a much-needed time with what's happening in the country, so she's been a wonderful distraction."

The couple also had their daughter blessed by their parish priest, Father Bob, who was working from a distance.
