Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lopez and More Thank Medical Workers for Selfless Service
Different celebrities have taken out time to show appreciation for the tremendous work done by health workers in the battle against the novel Coronavirus.
For a while now, the world has been thrown into a current health crisis, and while the public was advised to stay home and reduce the rate of infection, health workers have been at the forefront.
Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Robert De Niro and Kerry Washington, among others, recognized the efforts pulled by medical practitioners and set out to show admiration for them by putting up emotional clips.

SHOWING LOVE TO THOSE ON THE FRONTLINES
In a heartwarming video addressed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, music diva, Jennifer Lopez made no hesitations as she poured out her heart while thanking doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff for their excellent works. She said:
"Your heroic efforts have not gone unnoticed. We love you. Thank you. Stay safe."
In Hollywood star, Kerry Washington's video, she mentioned that she and some New Yorkers made concerted efforts in donating medical supplies for the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
The star actress added that that was their way of showing appreciation while urging other people to do the same.

On the Facebook page of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the management shared Robert De Niro's appreciation video, thanking him for showing affection. The Hollywood veteran actor addressed health workers while mentioning their selfless service.
In the past weeks, many celebrities have shown both monetary and emotional support.
The "Raging Bull" star said in his video: "Your commitment, courage, selflessness, and passionate care for your fellow citizens has gone above and beyond the call of duty." Referring to the health workers as "heroes to us all," De Niro thanked them for being at the frontline of saving citizens and society.
EFFORTS FROM CELEBRITIES
In the past weeks, many celebrities have shown both monetary and emotional support as health workers battle COVID-19. Athletes like LeBron James, Pete Alonso, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, among others, have to be quite expressive about their supports.
Ibrahimovic, on his part, started a fundraising initiative by opening a GoFundMe account for Humanitas hospitals in Italy. In the space of six days, the star footballer was able to gather a sum of $300,000.
NHS staffs have also been receiving words of encouragement and appreciation from celebrities. Star singer Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas, shot a "thank-you" clip at home. Other stars like Oliver Colman, Cesc Fabregas, and Gary Barlow also did their bits.
