One of Jennifer Lopez's Children Graduates and Ignites Buzz Over Resurfaced Post
One of the pop star's children just walked across their graduation stage, and while the family moment was worth celebrating on its own, a detail surfacing online suggests this teen's next chapter looks a little different from what anyone might have expected.
Jennifer Lopez was at the graduation ceremony alongside her mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, and the graduate's former stepbrother, Samuel Affleck.
Although one important relative was nowhere to be seen, people have turned their attention somewhere else: a post that suggests the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer's child seems to have made a major life decision.
A Celebration With One Empty Seat
The May 28, 2026, high school graduation in Los Angeles brought together an interesting mix of faces. Jennifer's child, Emme Muñiz, was the main character, while her twin brother, Max Muñiz, was there for support.
The two siblings offered quite the contrast: the graduate wore a tan suit and was all smiles throughout, while Max went with an all-black ensemble.
Also present was Ben Affleck's 14-year-old son, photographed chatting with the guest of honor. Jennifer and Ben were married in 2022 before splitting in 2024, but the two have clearly kept their families connected since then.
However, according to Page Six, there was one notable person missing: the twins' father, Marc Anthony. His absence was the obvious gap in the room. Unfortunately, his representatives did not respond to requests for comment, and Jennifer's team stayed equally quiet.
Although the twins are Jennifer's only children, the "Vivir La Vida" singer has seven children across multiple relationships. Most recently, Marc and his wife Nadia Ferreira welcomed son Marco, now 2, and announced in January 2026 that a second child is on the way.
The Post That Seems Like a Soft Launch
While Marc's absence was certainly confusing and attention-grabbing, a March 6 Instagram post from an account called Windward College Decisions 2026 quietly resurfaced and sparked an entirely different conversation.
The caption read, "Oskar to Sarah Lawrence! No more impromptu NYC trips because he'll be living there! Good thing it's only a few hours away from Stagedoor. Go gryphons!! Congrats!!! 💚💛"
The graphic included a childhood photo of a young blonde girl in a pink dress, with the name Oskar Muñiz printed alongside the Sarah Lawrence College logo. The account also tagged a private profile under the handle Oskar Jacob, whose photos appear to show the graduate, and whose pronouns are listed as "he."
It looks like one of Jennifer Lopez's children may have made a major life decision without much fanfare or official public announcement. But neither her nor Marc's teams have addressed this yet.
What the post does make clear is that they are heading to Sarah Lawrence, a college known for its arts-forward, progressive community just outside New York City, with the "Stagedoor" reference hinting that creative ambitions are very much part of the plan.
