Boris Kodjoe and his wife Nicole Ari Parker recently featured on rapper T.I's podcast, expediTIously, where they shared some secrets to their peaceful marriage.
T.I and his wife, Tiny, who was also featured on the podcast, shared their peculiar marriage challenges with the Kodjoes, which includes several cheating scandals.
T.I commended his wife's good nature and credited it to her having to forgive him on repeated occasions of cheating. Tiny went on to ask the couple how they managed to be discrete about their indiscretions which she termed "dirt."
Parker added that they had to practice long-distance dating at the early stages of their relationship to test their feelings for one another.
The 47-year-old actor responded to the question with a statement that many regarded to be a poke into the rapper's past infidelity cases. Boris said,
"I don’t think there’s a lot of major dirt, but we also respect each other enough that I would never want to embarrass myself or her or the kids or anybody."
Viewers of the podcast made jokes about T.I trying to compare his life punctuated with several cases of infidelity, to that of Kodjoe's.
Boris and Nicole had earlier spoken about their relationship, which dates back to the shoot of the old Showtime series, "Soul Food."
They revealed that their first date in 2002 was at a Gala in New York, and Parker explained that she's been gushing over him ever since.
Parker added that they had to practice long-distance dating at the early stages of their relationship to test their feelings for one another. It appears that they passed as the couple has been married for 15 years now.
