Following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, several people have stepped up in a bid to provide relief materials to those who need them. This consists of a long list of celebrities, including actor, Boris Kodjoe, and his family.
In a recent Instagram post by Boris, he was captured alongside his family as they thanked fans who had helped distribute protective masks to first responders.
In the short clip, Kodjoe, his wife, Nicole Parker, and their two children, Ursula and Eric, wore a sample of the protective masks which Nicole described as soft, breathable, washable, and reusable.
According to them, their efforts were inspired by the scarcity of masks for those who risk their health every day to keep people safe during the fight against COVID-19. The video was posted alongside a caption where Boris wrote:
“Hey, fam. Thank you ?? for helping us give away masks to our courageous first responders. Your support has been overwhelming. ❤️❤️❤️”
In a similar post shared on Nicole’s Instagram page, she thanked all of their customers who make it possible for those on the frontlines to get free masks.
Asides sharing a genuine passion for philanthropic works, Kodjoe and his wife also have real love for each other.
Boris and Nicole wed in 2005 and welcomed two children together, daughter Sophie and son Nicolas.
While celebrating their 13th anniversary in 2018, Boris shared a video where he was dancing with the “Boogie Night” star. He posted the clip alongside a sweet note where he listed how much he loved his wife.
According to him, he had loved her as a friend, as a partner, a traveling companion, a confidant, and so much more. He also added:
“For we are doing our dance, a mysterious and adventurous one……….and there’s no one I’d rather share this beautiful dance with than you. Happy anniversary.”
Boris and Parker met while they were filming on the set of the “Soul Food,” where they initially co-starred as love interests before Kodjoe got off the show.
His exit, however, did not stop them from getting romantic in real life. According to Nicole, they had connected on the set and found it easy to talk to each other, which ignited their love story.
The couple wed in 2005 and welcomed two children together. Over time, the lovebirds have never stopped making their relationship a priority. They’ve also been kind enough to share that real happiness comes with a lot of work!
