According to Closer Weekly, the TV personality kicked off the birthday celebrations in quarantine by popping a cold bottle of champagne.

Valerie didn't stop at being an actress and TV personality, though, as she has expanded her career to include being a spokesperson and best-selling author.

The Food Network star gave fans a glimpse at the bottle popping by taking to her Instagram Story to state that she was "Sipping on champagne at 6 a.m." By the end of the video, Valerie was in such a great mood that she joked about coming to terms with being 60.

Valerie continued the birthday celebrations by paying a virtual visit to the "Today" show where she talked with the show's host, Savannah Guthrie, about her upcoming projects and her son, Wolfgang Van Halen.

When it came to the topic of her son, the "Hot in Cleveland" actress told Savannah that, "the moment I became his mother, I felt right in the world. I felt whole. He's just a very special human being, and I love him dearly."

Just before she made that confession about her son, Closer Weekly reported that Valerie admitted that she had nothing to worry about when it came to the 28-year-old, who is part of his father, Eddie Van Halen's band, Van Halen.

Before Wolfgang became a part of Van Halen, he used to have several sessions with his heavy metal band, Tremonti.

While many people would be worried about their child was getting up to in that sort of group, the opposite was the case for Valerie, who claimed that she was never bothered about her son's whereabouts because he was still around some "really great people."

As regards her career, IMDB reported that Valerie was part of the 175 situation comedy "One Day at a Time" which premiered on CBS with the actress playing the role of Barbara Cooper.

Valerie has also starred in three feature films, which include "CHOMPS," "Ordinary Heroes," and "Number One with a Bullet."

Valerie didn't stop at being an actress and TV personality, though, as she has expanded her career to include being a spokesperson and best-selling author.
