Shaunie & Shaquille O'Neal's Daughter Amirah Shows off Toned Belly in Top & Ripped Jeans

The second daughter of the NBA All-Star is making her own path into a basketball career. Behind are the days as a high school student, now she is a determined young lady who is joining her brother to be a top university athlete.

NBA legend, Shaquille O’Neal’s second daughter, Amirah, is making a name of her own. It seems that the eighteen-year-old inherited her father’s skills as a basketball player and she is all into it.

Recent photos she posted on her Instagram amid quarantine, show her flaunting her flat tummy while wearing a pink print crop top and ripped jeans. Through these pictures, we can see she is no longer a girl, but a soon-to-be determined star student-athlete.

SHAQ’S FAMILY

Born in 2001, Amirah Sanaa is the second of four children that Shaquille O’Neal shares with ex-wife Shaunie Nelson. Their first son and Amirah’s older brother is Shareef Rashaun, who was born in 2000.

Shaq and Shaunie married in 2002, and after that, they welcomed Shaqir Rashaun in 2003 and Me’arah Sanaa in 2006. Each had one child from previous relationships, Shaunie’s son, Myles, and Shaq’s first daughter, Taahira, with former girlfriend Arnetta Yardbourgh.

Though the couple is divorced, they have developed a healthy co-parenting relationship, to do what is best for them. Shaq also has a very healthy relationship with his children, and he even has had party moments with them while quarantining at home.

To these days, Shaq’s ex-wife, Shaunie, is the creator, executive producer, and star of the VH1 reality show “Basketball Wives”, which follows the wives, girlfriends, and exes of NBA players.

LSU STUDENTS

Talent runs in the family, and Shaq’s kids are following their dad’s footsteps but with the talent of their own. Amirah, recently took to Instagram to post a photo saying that she decided to go to LSU, her father’s alma mater, as a student-athlete.

Next to the photo where she proudly wears LSU uniform she wrote:

“I am ready for the challenge. I never imagined myself saying this, but I am excited to say that I have decided to commit to being a student-athlete at LSU alongside my brother @shareefoneal”

Amirah’s impressive career as a high school player, averaging 17.2 points per game, led her to join her older brother, at LSU. Shareef, on his side, has also made his way to a successful career from a top high school player to UCLA.

However, he was diagnosed with an anomalous coronary artery and underwent open-heart surgery in 2018, which stopped him from completing his freshman year.

In the fall of 2019, he returned to college ball, and later, he announced his transfer from UCLA to LSU.

Younger siblings, Shaquir and Me’arah, are also forging their paths towards a basketball career, and though they are still too young, they both have shown talent and interest in following their dad’s footsteps.
