The video began with the introduction, "The Campbells present, A Little More Jesus," and began with Erica and her husband waking up and proceeding on their daily activities.
Their kids soon woke up and went to brush their teeth, while their mom went to make breakfast, with the kids waiting at the dining area. The caption to the post read:
"Erica Campbell "A Little More Jesus" (At Home Edition). We never shot a video for my song #ALittleMoreJesus, so we maximized our time of #quarantine to shoot this for you!"
Erica also said she hoped that her fans found the video and live chat surprise enjoyable, before adding that she and her family loved every one of them.
The singer also gave props to her husband for directing the video, her daughter Krista for the lighting, her second daughter, Zaya, for the sound, and her son Warren for being the "Behind the Scenes" camera operator.
After listening to her daughter's revelation, a shocked Erica introduced Krista to Kheris Rogers, a young influencer on social media.
Erica's fans trooped to the comment section of her post to share their feelings about the video, and also narrate their ordeal with their kids at home. One person said that the video was very adorable.
Another fan noted that the singer did an excellent job and that the video was well put together. A third fan, however, narrated her experience with her kids, writing:
"Yessssuh I need a lil mi Jesus and a lil mo groceries. These kids been rearranging my pantry and fridge since they been out of school."
Erica's daughter, Krista, was in the news about two years ago after she revealed that she was being bullied because of her skin color. Krista made the revelation during an episode of the T.V. One show, "We're The Campbells."
Krista told her mom during the episode that she was bullied when she was in fifth grade, and that a few girls in school called her "darkie," and refused to play with her. Krista also said that the trauma she had from that experience had a lasting impact on her.
After listening to her daughter's revelation, a shocked Erica introduced Krista to Kheris Rogers, a young influencer on social media who is very much proud of her dark skin.
Erica Campbell is widely recognized for being one-half of the famous gospel singing duo, "Mary Mary," with her sister, Tina Atkins, being the other half. Erica began her solo career in 2013 and had a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album, which she won in 2016.
