Ciara's Son Future's New Haircut Is Seemingly Inspired by Kobe Bryant

Ciara's five-year-old fiercely flaunted his new look courtesy of his stepfather and inspired by Kobe Bryant. He also paid tribute to another basketball legend in a second photo his mom shared.

Ciara’s son, Future paid tribute to Kobe Bryant flaunting his new haircut inspired by the late basketball star.

The 5-year-old graced his mom’s Instagram this weekend and brought back memories of the Lakers legend by sporting a shaved head and a #24 jersey.

In Kobe fashion, Future bit his jersey as he posed for one of two photos his mother shared. His hands rested on his knees as he crouched to show off his new look and fierce expression to match.

Ciara also shared another photo of Future sitting on a couch wearing red basketball shorts bearing another legend, Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan logo.

According to Future’s stepfather, Russell Wilson, who took to Ciara’s comments section, he “gave him that fresh cut.” Meanwhile, Ciara simply captioned the pics, “INSPIRED.”

Russell, or “Papa Russ” to Future, can credit his mother, Tammy Wilson, for encouraging him to fully embrace being a stepfather.

Russell has proven time and again what an amazing stepfather he is to Future. Having been a part of the child’s life since he was two years old, Russell may very well have raised him like his own.

Ciara is happy that her husband treats her son with rapper Future like his own. In fact, she admitted in the past that this was “one of the most sexiest things about him.”

In his part, Russell, or “Papa Russ” to Future, can credit his mother, Tammy Wilson, for encouraging him to fully embrace being a stepfather.

Tammy revealed in a podcast interview that she advised Russell to love Ciara’s son like his own if he was serious about the singer.

“If you’re going to be with someone who has a kid, you can’t treat that kid any differently than if it were yours,” she recalled telling her son.

Tammy’s words apparently stuck to Russell seeing how much he dotes on Future. Together, they work out and play golf. Russell has also been patiently training Future in football, his career sport.

Russell and Ciara have a younger daughter, Sienna who just turned three. They’re about to welcome another child in a few months. But one thing’s for sure, Future will always have a special place in his stepfather’s heart.
