After he died, Katie was able to sit with him in the ICU and cried. She told him how much she and their children loved him.

When Jonathan's phone was returned to her, she turned it on, and there was a note up written by her husband the day before he was intubated.

According to Katie, Jonathan went to Danbury Hospital after he was diagnosed with COVID-19 because he could no longer fight at home all alone.

Katie said her husband was terrified and that he lived his worst fear, and he was distant from everyone else when he did it.

On the night of April 21, Katie had a discussion with Jonathan's doctor that left her hopeful. Then hours later, she got a call from the hospital, informing her that Jonathan was gone.
