RECOVERING FROM HIS CRASH

Four years prior to the show, it seemed impossible for the 49-year-old to think of performing, speaking, or walking ever again. Back in June 2014, he suffered a traumatic brain injury from a multi-vehicle car crash that left him in a coma for eight days.

Once he got out of a coma, he still had to go months of physical rehabilitation and cognitive therapy for him to recover fully. That said, it wasn't exactly easy for him to get right back to work and it took a lot of dedication from his part.
