Andrew Cuomo and Brother Chris Discuss His Appearance on 'The Ellen Show'
Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York appears to be doing it all these days. Apart from helping to manage the state amid the novel coronavirus, he's also made time to appear on talk shows.
Earlier this week, the Governor appeared on Cuomo Prime Time, a news segment that his younger brother, Chris, hosts. In the segment, Andrew spoke about a recent interview he had with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

While on the show, the two men spoke about New York State and the efforts to contain the spread of the virus. However, as they always do, they soon digressed and started taking friendly jabs at each other.
Chris started this time, pointing out that Andrew has become something of a celebrity now. He added that his older brother had garnered quite the fan base, and he has fed into it with appearances on Ellen and more.

Never one to stop or back down, Andrew took a few shots back. He explained that he'd been the same person, as opposed to Chris, who has been with his family. In part, he said:
"Nothing about me has changed. I haven't been in my basement, I haven't had my wife shear my hair out of resentment. None of that has happened to me. I'm just doing my job."
Governor Cuomo's Ellen segment was an enlightening one as well, as he gave some insights about his State.
Notably, he shared his vision for reopening New York gradually so that people can get back to normal life amid the pandemic. Soon, of course, things got more playful. Ellen even teased him about being single.
Even some celebrities have developed something of a crush for Andrew.
The Governor is notorious for having garnered an impressive fan base. While many watch him every day during his news briefings, others have taken a particular liking for him as well.
Even some celebrities have developed something of a crush for Andrew. Last month, Jada Pinkett Smith explained in an episode of "Red Table Talk" that the Governor is her celebrity crush. In part, she said:
"My celebrity crush is Governor Cuomo. I don't miss a press conference when Cuomo is on. I'm like, 'Got to go see my celebrity crush right now, sorry.'"
Apart from Jada, comedian Chelsea Handler has also revealed her crush for Governor Cuomo. Chelsea even went as far as writing the Governor an open letter where she declared her admiration for him.
Other notable names in the category include Chloe Sevigny and Michelle Collins. The Governor is single for now. So, nothing is stopping him from starting something romantic when the pandemic blows over.
