Remy Ma and Papoose Celebrate Their 12th Wedding Anniversary with Touching Tributes

Celebrity couple Remy Ma and Papoose send warm tributes to each other in celebration of their 12th wedding anniversary.

It is interesting how time flies when one is having fun. Being in a beautiful relationship is comforting, and understanding that there is someone to always look out for one's interest is exhilarating.

Celebrity couple Remy Ma and Papoose have been married for 12 years, and to celebrate their anniversary, the couple decided to take to Instagram to send warm tributes to one another.

To celebrate his wife, Papoose shared a picture of himself carrying Remy over his shoulders. The couple had on "Hip Hop Love" sweatshirts and matching face caps.

Remy Ma looked comfortable as she sat on Papoose's shoulder while he held her firmly by her legs. Captioning the image Papoose said:

"On this day 2008, we got married. @remyma #happyanniversary Happiest day of my life. #blackloveisreal #blacklove."

In the same manner, Remy Ma also shared pictures from their tenth wedding anniversary and their marriage renewal. The images showed Remy Ma wearing an elegant Karen Sabag gown while Papoose had on a baby blue blazer with white trousers.

The series of images highlighted moments from the day they renewed their vows on their 10th wedding anniversary, and the duo looked ecstatic to be renewing their vows.

Remy Ma and Papoose got married over the phone back in 2008.

In her caption, Remy acknowledged how much she loves Papoose stating that she loves him with every part of her being. She also hinted that she was eager to renew their wedding vows as soon as possible. Concluding her post, Remy wrote:

"I know I said we'd do it again at 20 years, but I think I wanna marry you again sooner ☺️lol...15 year anniversary it's lit!!? #MeetTheMackies #BlackLove #RemyMa."

Fans of the couple rushed to their separate posts commenting on how much they loved Remy and Papoose. Many thanked them for showing the world that Black People could also love while some encouraged them to keep the ball rolling.

Remy Ma and Papoose got married over the phone back in 2008 when she was serving a six-year jail sentence for shooting her friend in the abdomen over money matters.

Following her release, the couple held a proper wedding ceremony in 2016, and in 2018, they welcomed their first child, Reminisce Mackenzie Mackie, whom they refer to as the "Golden Child."

As for the reason why they call her that, Remy Ma said that Reminisce was one of the smartest babies she had ever come across and was fast at grabbing words and actions.
