Director Lynn Shelton's Death Leaves Her Boyfriend Marc Maron Heartbroken
Lynn Shelton's passing broke the hearts of many people, including her boyfriend, Marc Maron.
It was a dark day when the death of Lynn Shelton was announced as the news hurt several people, including her boyfriend, Marc Maron. Soon after her passing, Marc released a statement to IndieWire where he said:
"I loved her very much as I know many of you did as well. It's devastating. I am leveled, heartbroken and in complete shock."

The late director, writer, and producer, who began making movies in her mid-30s, made her mark on Hollywood with several films including "Humpday," "Your Sister's Sister," and "Outside In."
Ava DuVernay also tweeted that Lynn changed her life in 2012 when she handed her (Ava) the Directing Award at Sundance.
Lynn also worked on hit TV series such as "Mad Men," "The Mindy Project," "Master of None," and "New Girl." According to her IMDB page, Lynn is survived by her son Milo Seal, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kevin Seal.
She also has her brothers - David Shelton, Robert Rynd, and her sister, Tanya Rynd. As regards her relationship, Lynn was known to share the occasional update as can be seen in a post she shared back in April.
Lynn and Marc looked comfortable in their casual outfits which they paired with brown face masks, in the well-liked image. Heavy added that Lynn was also prone to sharing images that showed her and her man working together on projects.
One such project was the show, "GLOW" - while Lynn directed the series on five different occasions, her man appeared on it. The two also worked together in 2018 on "Sword of Trust" and Lynn even appeared on Marc's podcast back in 2015.
Following the news of Lynn's passing, Deadline reported that fans, former colleagues, and friends took to their various social media platforms to pay their tributes to the late filmmaker.
While Nia DaCosta tweeted that Lynn was "one of the wonderful advisors I had at the Sundance Labs," Edgar Wright stated that the 54-year-old was a friend with a kind heart.
Ava DuVernay also tweeted that Lynn changed her life in 2012 when she handed her (Ava) the Directing Award at Sundance. The actress added that she was grateful for Lynn's kindness. The award-winning independent filmmaker died of an unknown blood disorder.
