Meet Robin Roberts' Longtime Partner Amber Laign Who Is a Big Part of the Host's Life

Robin Roberts' girlfriend, Amber Laign, has been with the co-host for over a decade. She has, however, kept a low profile, unlike her famous partner.

In 2013, Robin Roberts came out to publicly declare that she is gay. At the time, she was already in a relationship with her current girlfriend, Amber Laign, who has successfully managed to keep a low profile over the years.

In celebration of Gay Pride Day back in 2017, Robin shared an adorable photo of herself and Amber. With the couple right next to each other, they flashed charming smiles as they posed for the camera.

In her caption, Roberts gave a shoutout to everyone in the gay community who was celebrating the day. She wrote: "Amber & I wishing all who are celebrating today #happypride. Have fun and love to all! ?❤️"

The post garnered reactions from fans of the newscaster who had shown support since Robin came out about her sexuality. One user wrote:

"Happy Pride Robin and Amber. You are beautiful and blessed ladies. , Robin you are a class act and a great inspiration?."

Another follower gushed: "Happy Pride Robin You are a stunning couple, while a third fan wrote: "What a great picture of both of you! Y'all are a beautiful couple."

Although very little is known about Amber as opposed to her partner, a doting Robin has managed to reveal some information about her lover.

Amber doubles as a licensed massage therapist.

In 2014, Robert spoke about her girlfriend while disclosing that they met on a blind date. Before the "Good Morning America" co-host's public confirmation of her sexual preferences, the couple had dated for nine years.

During an appearance on "The Ellen Degeneres Show," Ellen asked Robin why Laign had lived a quiet life before then. In response to the question, Robert said:

"Well, because she doesn't really like the spotlight. She's here right now; I can't even get her to come out."

The "Good Morning America" co-host also went on to describe Amber as a very supportive person who had been there for her every step of the way.

From Amber's Instagram profile page, it was gathered that the blonde beauty owns a company called, "Plant Juice Oils," and also doubles as a licensed massage therapist.

Something Laign does share in common with her girlfriend is a love for dogs. One look at the couple's respective Instagram pages makes it very obvious.

A significant difference, however, lies in their ages. While Amber is 45, her girlfriend is 59, leaving a 14-year gap between the two lovers. Love does transcend all, or in this case, love transcends age.
