DOCTORS ADVISED HER TO WORK FROM HOME

Due to Robin Roberts' underlying health conditions, her doctors advised her to stay home and continue to work from there. She ultimately took their advice and began working at home since March.

Many other newscasters and journalists have been working at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

KEEPING A SAFE DISTANCE AMID THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Given that she's a cancer survivor who battled a rare blood and bone marrow disease, working at home was the best choice for Roberts. Staying in Connecticut was also a safe option for her, in order to move away from New York for a while, given that it's a hot spot for COVID-19 in America.

Like Robin, many other newscasters and journalists have been working at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They continue to provide their viewers with the latest news and updates while maintaining a safe distance from others to practice the quarantine measures put in place.
