When former basketball player, Ray Allen, met Shannon Walker Williams, he knew without a doubt that she was the love of his life. According to Heavy, the two-time NBA champion married Shannon back in 2008 after four years together.

The site noted that Shannon was one of the founding members of the music group, Shades, which also had alongside Danielle Andrews, Monique Peoples, and Tiffanie Cardwell.
The couple has become known for posting images of their blended family via Instagram. Back in March, Ray shared a shirtless pic of himself alongside his family with his 2.3 million followers.
The group, which was formed when the four members were at Northeastern University, Boston, released only one album.The album was self-titled “Shades” and was released in 1997. The group split a few months later in the same year, which prompted Shannon to try her hands at being an actress.
That career didn’t entirely take off as she expected despite her appearances in movies like “Girlfight,” “Bamboozled,” and “Britney, Baby, One More Time.”
Her IMDB page notes that she and Ray have welcomed four children Walter Ray Allen III, Wynn Allen, Wynstan Ryan Allen, and Walker Allen Ray Allen. Ray also has a daughter, Tierra Allen, whom he shares with Rosalind Ramsey. Even though she isn’t Tierra’s biological mother, Shannon appears to have welcomed her into her and Ray’s home.

For Mother’s Day 2019, Shannon went all out as she posted a series of images that showed all seven members of the Allen clan. The singer uploaded yet another family picture in December 2019, which was followed by a New Year image that included just her and her man at a party.
The couple made a return to Shannon’s Instagram on February 14 with a picture that she captioned: “There can only be one.” However, on March 3, Shannon posted an image that featured only her rocking a colorful outfit for the snap.
As regards her career path, ESPN revealed that she is the host of a popular cooking show titled "Pre-Game Meal" where she invites famous athletes to show off their healthy cooking skills.
The 45-year-old explained that she chose to do a cooking show after her husband got traded to Boston and she decided to give it a shot with the pilot in her kitchen. It airs on Comcast's SportsNet.
This comes after The Root reported that Ray faced some challenges when he was allegedly catfished by a man who claimed to be several attractive-looking women. Ray, however, made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with the drama and just wanted to be left alone.
