For the event, Melania opted for a beige-colored gown, which stopped just below her knees. She complimented the outfit with a pair of yellow pumps that made her legs appear longer. The mother-of-one’s outfit was shown off in several images shared by the First Lady’s official Instagram page.

Melania was also reported to have sent lunches to the staff of Trader Joe’s and donated “Be Best” packages to other patients and staff at hospitals around the US.

Fans got a closer look at the outfit in a video that was uploaded to the same page. In the clip, Melania is heard encouraging those at the event to not give up on their dreams and goals despite the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

Daily Mail reported that the attendees of the ceremony were from different education levels and age brackets. While some people were receiving undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, others were just wrapping up high school.

The Presidency ensured that the attendees were only admitted into the East Room of the White House after they took a novel coronavirus test. The First Lady had previously addressed all students in a prerecorded message during a CNN Coronavirus Town Hall.

According to CNN, the 50-year-old assured the millions of students, who haven’t been in school due to lockdown rules, that their “determination to get through this will define your generation for years to come."

Melania had also released an address during the 2020 Mother’s Day celebration, where she showed her appreciation for mothers all around the US.

Daily Mail pointed out that she rocked a pink Gabriela Hearst-designed dress that was paired with a fully made-up face.

The first lady’s address to mothers came some days after Fox News disclosed that she donated boxed lunches to the staff and patients of The Children’s Inn, Maryland.

It was noted by Stephanie Grisham, who is the spokeswoman and former White House press secretary, that the packages were safely put together with contactless delivery.
