On the virtual version of "The Tamron Hall Show," the host spoke to actor and comedian Anthony Anderson about the title "Black Moses." During their talk, she shared that she didn't actually name her son after the biblical Moses, but instead, "Black Moses" Isaac Hayes.

While speaking to Anderson, she also revealed the order in which she considers the title "Black Moses," which begins with her son, and then Isaac Hayes, before Anthony. This revelation came as a shock to many, as a lot of fans thought her son was named after Moses from the bible.
