Simone Biles Celebrates Best Friend Rachel Moore's 23rd Birthday in a Sweet Photo
Simone Biles and her best friend, Rachel Moore, wore matching ripped jeans in a photo she posted while paying tribute to her on her 23rd birthday.
When it comes to sports duos, Simone Biles and her fellow gymnast, Aly Raisman, are friendship goals. The two Olympians train and even tape their ankles together in preparation for competitions.
According to Elle, during the Olympics in 2016, Simone admitted that she was more proud of Aly for receiving the silver medal that she was of her gold.
Outside of her career, Simone has another best friend, Rachel Moore, who was also her biggest supporter during her first run at the Olympics.
During the "Hellos from Home" commercial for Hersey's chocolates, a handwritten letter from Rachel was featured in the advertisement.
In the commercial, Simone opened a box of letters, in her message Rachel expressed how proud she was of Simone for going to Rio, she added:
"Can't wait until you get home so we can travel the world together. Miss you like crazy, and I love you so much."
Simone and Rachel haven't travelled the world recently. However, they have been spending a lot of time together while self-isolating in their homes.
Simone has been sharing regular photos of Rachel visiting her, and the two best friends have been enjoying everything from the occasional wine and dip in the pool. For Rachel's 23rd birthday, they dressed up in matching ripped jeans and enjoyed an intimate party.
In her caption, Simone called Rachel's birthday her "Jordan year," which symbolizes NBA legend, Michael Jordan's jersey number that was number 23.
Many of Simone's fans joined her in wishing Rachel a happy birthday. "Happy birthday, and don't eat too much cake, ladies," teased one person. Rachel shared her appreciation for the post.

, 23-year-old Simone is the oldest American female Olympic gymnast to compete since 2004. She is also the oldest to win a gold medal.
She was set to retire in 2020 after the Olympics in Tokyo. However, the postponement of the event amid the COVID-19 pandemic has extended her retirement plans.
