Entertainment Tonight: Justin Hartley of 'This Is Us' and Ex Co-star Sofia Pernas Are Dating

“This Is Us” star Justin Hartley and his former “The Young and the Restless” co-star, Sofia Perna, are reportedly dating and spending more time together. This comes amid his divorce from ex-wife Chrishell Stause.

Justin Hartley is wasting no time in moving on from his ex-wife Chrishell Stause according to reports by Entertainment Tonight.

According to a source who spoke to the publication, Hartley has found a new love interest in 30-year-old Sofia Perna as they are newly dating and spending more time together. Speaking about the blossoming relationship, the insider said:

“The couple has spent time together during quarantine and has taken the time to get to know one another better.”

It will be recalled that Hartley and Perna first crossed paths on the set of “The Young and the Restless” in 2015, where she played his love interest, Marisa Sierras.

While it’s not sure what led to their breakup, rumors surfaced that [Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause] had been struggling with their marriage.

The new romance which comes amid Hartley’s divorce proceedings doesn’t seem to sit well with his ex as the source noted that “Chrishell is upset because they only split at the end of 2019.”

However, she understands that they both need to go their separate ways and find love. Sofia and Justin’s relationship comes as no surprise as they recently sparked dating rumors after a steamy PDA session.

TMZ reported that the duo was spotted locking lips last week when she dropped him off at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles. Sofia was also the one who picked him up, hours after his appointment.

E! Online notes that Sofia is the first woman, Justin has been linked to since he separated from Stause in November 2019.

While it seems as though the relationship is just in its early stage, the entertainment site points out that Justin’s daughter Isabell follows the actress on Instagram.

Women’s Health reports that after two years of marriage, Justin filed for divorce from the “Selling Sunset” star. They dated for four years before their engagement in October 2017.

In the divorce papers, the 43-year-old cited irreconcilable difference as the reason for the split and stated that they had been separated since July 8.

While it’s not sure what led to their breakup, rumors surfaced that the duo had been struggling with their marriage. Nevertheless, they have tried to remain friends and have an amicable split.

Details of their divorce are expected to be discussed in the third season of “Selling Sunset” which will premiere in August 2020.
