Jeannie Mai's Ex-husband Freddy Harteis Melts Hearts with Sweet Photos with His Cute Daughter

Jeannie Mai's ex-husband Freddy Harteis shares a sweet moment with his eldest daughter Emmie as she helped him light a fire.

Freddy Harteis welcomed a daughter shortly after separating from Jeannie Mai, and the little girl is growing up quite fast. Freddy revealed that while he was starting a fire, his daughter Emmie wanted to do it herself.

In the pictures, the proud dad cuddles his daughter as they sat outdoors. In one photo, Emmie looked busy playing with her dad's equipment, while in the other, Freddy blew her a kiss as they sat by the fire.

SETTING A GOOD EXAMPLE

Aside from savoring the special moment shared between them, it also made Harteis realize the importance of always setting a good example for children. After all, children look up to their parents and learn their behaviors from them.

"That's what happens, kids learn behaviors from us...including how to treat people and how to not treat them. We all need that reminder from time to time, me included."

JEANNIE AND FREDDY'S MARRIAGE

Although Freddy and Jeannie are now leading separate lives, they were once married for a decade. They first met in 2007 when Mai was working as a fashion consultant and a host of her own makeover show on Style Network. Meanwhile, Harteis had his own series called "The Hollywood Hunter."

While Freddie is happily-in-love with his new girlfriend and two children, Mai is set to marry her boyfriend Jeezy in the near future.

Their marriage started out happy, with Mai making it clear that she wasn't keen on having children before they even walked down the aisle. However, towards the end of their relationship, Harteis realized that he wanted kids and the pair ended up filing for divorce.

LEADING SEPARATE LIVES

While they were having their divorce proceedings, Freddy became a first-time dad. At the time, Jeannie began speculating whether he was already having an affair while they were still married.

Ultimately, while they went through such rough divorce proceedings, they are both in much better places with their respective families. While Freddie is happily-in-love with his new girlfriend and two children, Mai is set to marry her boyfriend Jeezy in the near future.
