WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The love story of Drew Scott and Linda Phan began when they first met at Toronto Fashion Week in 2010. For the "Property Brother," it was love at first sight for him when he saw Phan dressed in a fashion police outfit and giving out badges to those that were poorly dressed.

When he saw her, Scott knew he had to make a move but did not get the chance until after the event when he saw her and one of her three sisters eating Pizza and holding bottles of water. While Scott thought his pick up line of "Hey, where'd you get that water?" was smooth, Phan found it hilarious.

After their initial meeting, the couple had their "longest first date ever" a few months later. What was to include a stop at a sushi restaurant turned into something longer when Scott invited himself to a Karaoke party Phan was headed to after their date.

DEFINING MOMENTS

For Phan, the defining moment in their relationship was when they arrived at the Karaoke party, and Scott opted to sing a Disney movie song "I am on a boat" from the movie "The Lonely Island." When he was done with the number, Phan knew she wanted to see him again.

Scott has hinted that they were looking to expand the family.

It took a little longer for Scott to hit his defining moment, but it came a few months after they started dating, and he invited Phan to meet his twin Jonathan and their highschool best friend, Pedro. At the hangout, Phan endeared herself to their hearts when she delivered the punchline to one of Pedro's jokes.

DATING AND ENGAGEMENT

The couple who began dating in 2010 dated for close to six years before Scott asked Phan to be his wife. Their dating life was filled with working together. Phan had started working at the brother's company as a creative director after they started dating. Speaking of their proposal, Scott said:

"When you have someone as amazing as Linda, it was important to propose [because] I want to be with her for the rest of my life."

Scott spent weeks planning the proposal precisely as he would want it to go. He took Phan to their favorite restaurant and with a four-tiered "Dr. Seuss: Oh the places you'll go" themed cake and his version of Train's ballad "Marry Me," he asked Phan to spend forever with him.

JOURNEY TO FOREVER

The couple tied the knot in the presence of close friends and family numbering up to about 300 guests at their destination wedding, which was held in Italy.

Although Scott did not want to film their wedding, Phan joked that she was going to film it on her iPhone and sell it. The couple settled to have it filmed for a "TLC" special titled "Drew and Linda say I do."

The couple who often describe themselves as workaholics always ensure that they take breaks that allow them to give their "loved one an extra squeeze."

While Scott has hinted that they were looking to expand the family someday, for now, they were content being with each other, enjoying the bliss of married life, and working on renovating more properties.
