In a Playboy interview, Lennon admitted the many things they wrote, most of which came at random times. The two musicians had a certain connection when it came to writing music.

RICHIE’S FAME
Like The Beatles member, his pal Richie is also an accomplished singer and songwriter, who found success with hits such as “Truly,” “Hello,” and “Dancing on the Ceiling.”
The singer, who is a judge on “American Idol” also co-wrote the famous song “We Are the World” with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Recently, an idea sparked in Richie to remake the song amid the coronavirus pandemic, thinking the lyrics related to what the world is currently experiencing.
