Speaking further, Shannon added that although there were past mistakes she regretted, she also believes that it served as a lesson to her.
Shannon also disclosed she hated herself in the past and had wanted to kill the person she was. She continued and added:
"I didn't want to kill myself physically, but I wanted to kill that personality."
In one of the recent episodes of "Mama June: Family Crisis" of the WEtv reality series, Shannon revealed that there was a time she used methamphetamine worth as much as $2,500 every day.
Last year, Shannon was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after she allegedly had cocaine and a crack pipe on her.
Shannon revealed that she had gotten a job at the airport.
Although Shannon is on a recovery journey, it appears that she might still be having trouble with drug use.
In an exclusive clip from "Mama June: Family Crisis" last week, Shannon was revealed to have tested positive for cocaine. She however repeatedly denied it saying:
"I will take a blood test; I will take five of those. I want to take a blood test to prove that I am not."
Apart from the recent drug test that came out positive, Shannon has been doing well and making quite a lot of effort to lead a healthy and responsible life.
Earlier in June, Shannon made an appearance on "Mama June: Family Crisis," where she revealed that she had gotten a job at the airport. According to her, the job entailed her delivering airport luggage.
Shannon added that she was doing the job alongside her boyfriend, Eugene Edward "Geno" Doak. The latter had also been arrested last year on charges of domestic violence and possession of a controlled substance.
Back in May, Shannon took to Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself doing some fitness activities at the beach. Shannon's recovery journey might be gradual, but she is certainly making progress.
