Inside Deceased Steve Bing's Dramatic Relationship with His Ex Liz Hurley and Son Damian

Besides gaining fame for his business acumen, the late Steve Bing was also widely known for his messy relationship with Elizabeth “Liz” Hurley.

Hours after the shocking news of Steve Bing’s death emerged online; Metro UK has disclosed some details about his relationship with the actress, Elizabeth “Liz” Hurley.

According to the site, when Steve and Liz were months into their relationship, Liz became pregnant and soon welcomed their first child, Damian Hurley.

Damian made headlines nearly a year ago when he recreated the iconic Versace safety-pin dress that his mother wore to the 1994 premiere of “Four Weddings And A Funeral.”

Unfortunately, the pair’s relationship became a thing of the past, as Steve found it hard to believe that he was the biological father of Damian.

With his refusal to accept his son, Steve ordered a DNA test and released a public statement where he claimed that he and the “Austin Powers” star were in a “non-exclusive” relationship during their 18 months together.

A DNA test later proved that Steve was the biological father of Damian as Vogue UK added that the former couple confirmed the outcome of the DNA test through a joint statement from their lawyers.

Steve, who previously inherited over $600 million fortune from his grandfather, promised to give his son a yearly payment of $125,000, which Liz initially turned down.

The British actress’ refusal didn’t stop the payments from growing every year as her former man decided to put it into a trust that Damian could access when he turned 18.

When he eventually turned 18 in April 2020, it was reported that Damian was qualified to inherit nothing less than $2.1 million.

Unlike his father, Damian’s grandfather, Dr. Peter Bing, has been less than willing to part with his wealth as regards Damian or Steve’s other child, Kira Kerkorian.

Daily Mail noted that Peter has refused to leave any of his inheritance for Damian and Kira because he claimed that he has never met either one of them.

Soon after Steve’s death became public news, BBC News revealed that Liz took to her Instagram page to pay him tribute. Through the touching post which came with pictures of the former couple, the actress said that:

“I’m posting these pictures because although we went through some tough times, it’s the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matter.”
