Check Out Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King's Dinner Reunion after Undergoing COVID-19 Quarantine
Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King were recently reunited for the first time in over three months. King quarantined in Winfrey's guest house for two weeks, and the talk show host shared clips of the period.
One of the significant effects of the novel coronavirus outbreak is the necessary physical distancing aimed at slowing its spread, particularly between persons not from the same household.
This has taken a toll on many relationships as people have been separated from their loved ones for extended periods.

Hence, it was heartwarming for many to see long term pals Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King reunited for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
The pair finally embraced yesterday, after King had undergone a "13 and a half days quarantine" at Winfrey's guesthouse, following government regulations.
Winfrey shared a video of the emotional reunion with her 19 million followers on Instagram, showing the large family enjoying a "freedom dinner" filled with smiles and laughter. King also shared a slideshow of the reunion.
King and Winfrey were first reunited at the end of June after King flew to California to be with her best friend. However, following social distancing guidelines, the duo had no physical contact.
King and her team were quarantined at Winfrey's guest house for the first fortnight of her visit. King was nonetheless thrilled to see her friend in person after a trying period and they enjoyed a "socially distant lunch".
[Winfrey] had previously sent both her partner, Stedman and their dog, Sadie, to her guest house in Santa Barbara for a 14-day quarantine.
In an interview with ET in June, King recalled that although she hadn't contracted the illness, the pandemic had taken a toll on her health as she had trouble sleeping and was in a "constant state of worry and angst."
King had previously been self-isolating across the country, in New York, but admitted that those three months were tough for her as she had always been indoors. She told ET:
"My favorite son is in California, favorite daughter is in California, Oprah's in California. It's been very difficult. The people I'm closest with live there."
King is now in good hands as her recent Instagram posts suggest that her friend has been quite the "quarantine hostess," treating her to every hospitality.
Nonetheless, Winfrey adhered strictly to health guidelines for the quarantine duration until the results of all parties' novel coronavirus tests came back negative.
Winfrey is known to take the COVID-19 health precautions very seriously. The celeb had previously sent both her partner, Stedman and their dog, Sadie, to her guest house in Santa Barbara for a 14-day quarantine.
Meanwhile, Oprah has been using her platform to connect with her fans. In May, she collaborated with John Krasinski on his YouTube series, "Some Good News," to advise a lucky graduate.
