Female wrestler and reality star Nikki Bella has opened up about her mother, Kathy Colace Laurinaitis’s progress, following the brain surgery she underwent in June.

Nikki Bella recently shared an update about her mother, Kathy Colace Laurinaitis’s health status, nearly two weeks after the latter underwent brain surgery.

The expectant reality star provided the update via her Instagram page when she posted an image of her, her mother, and twin sister, Brie Bella and told fans that they "have had two amazing visits with my mom."

In addition to dealing with their mother’s health scare, Brie and Nikki have also been getting ready to welcome their newborns

She revealed that Kathy's speech and balance had gotten and noted that although her mother’s face hasn’t healed yet, her family was grateful for the show of love from their friends, fans, and followers.

It didn’t take long before the post got almost thousands of likes with many followers cheering Nikki and her mother on via the comments section.

Just a couple of days before Nikki’s post, People reported that Brie revealed that Kathy “is now on the road to recovery," a journey she estimated would last six months to a year during a recent episode of “The Bellas Podcast.”

The 36-year-old twin sisters also explained on the podcast episode that their mother was diagnosed with Bell's palsy a few months ago until her condition deteriorated and it was discovered that she had a mass "as big as a blueberry" on her brain stem.

Once the doctors decided to make Kathy undergo surgery. the "Total Bellas" star informed their fans. People Magazine noted that Nikki asked for prayers from her fans through Instagram when she wrote:

“I ask for so many prayers, so much light and love sent her way. Sadly they found what you can compare to a tumor on her brain stem that has been paralyzing her face.”

In addition to dealing with their mother’s health scare, Brie and Nikki have also been getting ready to welcome their bundles of joy. Earlier in the year, the pair revealed to People Magazine that they were not only pregnant but that their due dates were just a week and a half apart.

While joking about the occurrence, Brie said that people thought that they planned it even though “you can’t really plan pregnancy!”

Brie’s pregnancy would be her second child with husband Daniel Bryan — the pair share 2-year-old daughter Birdie Joe Danielson — while this would be Nikki’s first child with her fiancé, Artem Chigvintsev.
