The sweet post captured the duo smiling at each other as they both held bouquets of colorful flowers in their hands. While the queen wore a pale yellow ensemble, Camilla looked elegant in a brown ruffled jacket, which she wore over a floral outfit. The gorgeous photo was captioned:
"??Wishing The Duchess of Cornwall a very happy birthday! Her Royal Highness turns 73 today."
In addition to the queen, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Williams, and Kate Middleton also wished Camilla a happy birthday. Taking to Instagram, the couple shared a photo of themselves posing alongside Camilla and her husband, Prince Charles.
They accompanied the image with a simple birthday note to Camilla in the caption. Ahead of Camilla's birthday, a new photo of the Duchess was released by Clarence House, to mark the special occasion.
There is no doubt that Camilla has indeed made Prince Charles a happy man.
The image which was shot in Prince Charles and Camilla's London residence saw the Duchess donning a beautiful blue dress with zip-up details. The dress designed by Anna Valentine was accompanied with a pair of pearl earrings as Camilla flashed a smile at the camera.
Born on 17 July 1947, Camilla, married her first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, in 1973, and the duo welcomed two children, Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes.
After twenty-two years of marriage, Camilla and Bowles ended their friendship and filed for divorce in 1995. Nearly a decade after her separation from her first husband, Camilla married Prince Charles, and the couple has been together ever since.
According to Penny Junor, a British royal biographer, Camilla has made Prince Charles incredibly happy over the years. Junor also added that Camilla's love for Prince Charles saved him, the British monarchy, and the Windsor dynasty itself.
With their union going into its sixteenth year, there is no doubt that Camilla has indeed made Prince Charles a happy man, and in return, the royal family is showering her with plenty of love."
