Critics dragged Jennifer Lopez for showing off her baby hair in a photo where she debuted a new hairstyle that had the singer looking much younger.
Jennifer Lopez is known for having a daring sense of style which usually hits the mark. The green Versace dress she wore at the 2000 Grammy Awards created an iconic moment in fashion which is still celebrated today.
When it comes to her hair, Lopez's hair color has found a balance between blonde and brunette ranging from all sorts of trendy straight, curly, and short hairstyles.

. In her caption, shewrote
, "baby hairs and moñitos (little buns)."
While her space buns were perfectly sculpted to give an almost messy yet effortless look, Lopez's bold baby hairs got all the attention and ensued a flood of criticism on Twitter.
In the photo, Lopez was dressed in a white hoodie with her signature gold hoop earrings. With her baby hairs well laid down with gel across her forehead, a twitter user wrote, "they look like bangs babygirl...wipe off the gel."
Fans dragged Lopez for choosing a look that made her look too young. A person tweeted, "girl put them fully grown adults back in that bun."
"Yo baby hairs look like they bout ready to retire," commented another person. Another person admitted that is wasn't her best look but defended Lopez against people questioning the presence of her baby hair.
According to Essence, hairstyles with exaggerated baby hairs are an upcoming trend that has been noticeable at many red carpets events.
Stars like Tessa Thompson, Khelani, FKA Twigs, and Yara Shahidi have all sported their stand out baby hairs in unique ways. A Twitter user denounced the look on Lopez and commented on her photo with a video of Janet Jackson saying "oh my God I'm so embarrassed."
Lopez's hair isn't the only thing she has been working on. Only days earlier, the Latina superstar teased her fans with a photo of her working with Maluma on an upcoming collaboration.
Lopez gave a hint to the lyrics in her post and wrote in her caption, "pase lo que pase 'toy pa' ti...Are you ready?" She and Maluma were pictured putting pen to paper while sitting on an orange leather couch.
