Music icon Bobby Brown did not hold back on his emotions in a new post as he honored his late daughter, Bobbi Kristina while sharing a throwback image of her.

It has been five years since the tragic passing of Bobby Brown's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and the music star continues to hold her memories dear in his heart.

Brown confirmed this in a new Instagram post where he shared a throwback photo of Bobbi Kristina as a child while pouring out his heart in the caption:

"There's no way to explain how I feel I miss you so much, little girl. You stay in my heart on my mind every day; daddy loves you."

ABC News shared the emotional moment Brown spent with TV anchor Robin Roberts as he reflected on the death of his daughter.

Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina's partner at the time, was found wanting in connection to her death. The infamous event made headlines as Kristina was said to have died from immersion and drug intoxication.

Bobbi Kristina is Brown's only child with his late wife and music legend, Whitney Houston, and according to him, they failed their daughter. It is noteworthy that Bobbi Kristina and her mother, Whitney Houston, died in a similarly mysterious way.

In 2012, Houston was found dead in a bathtub filled with water while drugs were found nearby. Three years later, Bobbi Kristina, a TV personality, was also found dead in a water-filled tub.

After examination, a mix of drugs and alcohol was found in her body system and her death was linked to lobar pneumonia. Houston's death was ruled as accidental drowning. Brown said during the interview:

"It's not a mystery to me. The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney…"

According to BBC, Bobbi Kristina, 22, was in a coma for six months before she was certified dead. Eight months after her passing, a medical examiner confirmed the presence of alcohol, cannabis, and anxiety-reduction drugs.

All these were said to have contributed to Bobbi Kristina's death. She was buried near her mom at Fairview cemetery in New Jersey.

LA Times reported that Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina's partner at the time, was found wanting in connection to her death. The infamous event made headlines as she was said to have died from immersion and drug intoxication.

According to Bobbi Kristina's conservator, she was allegedly abused and manipulated by Gordon who was the adopted son of Houston.

He and Kristina became romantically linked after Houston's death. Gordon's death was announced earlier this year following an accidental heroin overdose.
